Been absent from the forum for a few years now after selling my 07 H200SS and going to a bigger boat. Well sold that one two years ago. Our kids are getting big enough to once again maybe enjoy boating and the wife and I are kicking around the idea of getting another bow rider. With that said I luved my H200SS for many reason, but also disliked for a few. Been looking around trying to find a clean used H200SS, H210SS or H220SS, but I want one with a full windshield and Mercury power. Can't find any SS's for sales let alone with what I am looking for. Where they all go? If anyone has a line on one in any color except black let me know. Might not be ready to commit to buy until next spring, but for the right deal you never know. Just wanted to stop back in and say hello again and hopefully if all goes well we will be boating again next summer!

Well the SS package is graphics, cut down windshield, and crazy colors. If you want full sized windshield you might want just a standard H220. Four Winns pushed Volvo Penta very hard in those years, doubt you'll find a Merc.

My broker has this boat (the guy who sold my stingray).

Perfect engine/drive combo. 320hp, dual prop. Frenzy graphics, full windshield. Fresh water it's whole life. If I wanted a bowrider this would be it!

I Think I Have The Boat You Want! I have been contemplating selling due to drought down here in the Southwest for several years now. It's just not worth driving 1200 miles to good lakes just 1-2 times a year.
My H210SS has about only 20 hours on it but has been babied and added extras on her. I will work on getting pics to you if you are serious as I know once you see the boat and the shape it is in you will be impressed. :D

Too bad you are Anti-Volvo. Nice boat for the money here. Bling graphics can always be added later.

Not anti-volvo, but I spent last summer working at the busiest marine dealer in the area in the parts/service department and I have to say it is so much esier to get Merc parts vs. Volvo at least around here. Have to remember how close I am to Fond Du Lac where Mercs headquarters is. Can get almost anything same day or next day. Also I am very familiar working on them. Actually liked the Volvo in my 200SS. Nothing bad about them really. Actually that is a very nice looking boat for the money! And yellow is the wifes fav. color!!

This is nonsense. I looked at two different dealers over the course of a couple of model years and it was 50-50 at best with a slight lean toward Merc due it's popularity and strong dealer/service tech base in this part of the Midwest. You'll find plenty of these boats with a Merc power plant, especially in this part of the country.

I'd rather own Merc than VP. 1/4 the price to fix, just as reliable, and parts are EVERYWHERE. I live in Orlando and anything VP specific I needed was always special order.

10-4 on that. Place I worked at was a Merc dealer, but we worked on VP as well. I couldn't even find a water impeller for a 5.0 GXi any where without ordering online. We had a customer that had his go out two days before July 4th weekend so guess what. He spent the 4th with no boat!

It took the Stingray boat dealer when I had that (VP dealer) 4 days to get in a new trim pump when it went bad on my SX-A drive. The water inlet plastic nipple? A week. The tool to install it? Didn't even have one of their own, had to make it. Goodbye and farewell VP, hope I never own another one.

Not to mention you can pull a Merc Bravo or Alpha drive off the boat in about 10 minutes,, but it takes about 45 to an hour to get a VP off. I do like the fact that the VP impellars are a ton easier to change however.
