Looking for a Sony wired remote. RM-x11m or RM-x55m - they are round and look like gauges. If you have the full thing - great. Will also take just the cables. Name your price.

The 55 has long since been replaced with the 60.

And if my head unit had been replaced, I'd need the 60. However the 60 does not work with my head unit where the 55 does. Hence - I need the 55.

What head-unit do you have? Its been my experience, that any head-unit that ran the 55 would also work with the 60.

Just getting back to this - I have the CDX-GT510 head unit. looking at the compatibility chart from sony:

https://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/news-item.pl?news_id=201

It shows that the 60 does not work with my unit, where the 11 and 55 do. (It's actually listed as "N/A" but I confirmed with Sony that the 55 works) There are actually quite a few head units that do not work with the 60.

I have been planning to replace my Sony with a different unit and have it waiting to install. I'll be happy to sell you mine once that project is complete.

I would go with a new head unit to go with whatever new remote you can get.... Head units don't last that long and are relatively cheap ($150 on up) for the marine version.
