Does any one know where I can find a used trailer that will haul a 268 Vista. I only have to haul the boat about 10 miles. I have looked on Craigslist and a couple other sites, but with no luck. I can have my marina store my boat, but I would like the convenience of being able to trailer the boat myself. I live in North East, Maryland right in between Baltimore and Philadelphia.

Any help would be appreciated.

su2, did you ever locate a trailer ?

I am in the market for one for our 268 Vista as well. Need to change storage
facilities for next season, and a trailer under the boat will give me many more
options.

If you or anyone can help me find one, used preferrably, I would appreciate any
help.

Here one that reminds me of a 258 trailer. Maybe they have one

Thanks. I guess I should have measured the boat before I launched Friday.

I'll see what he has.

If you don't mind, that would be a big help.

Thanks Jeff.

Ok, from the transom (right below the drain plug) to the bow eye, down the center of the keel, is 21' 1". If you want to encompass the "pods" that the trim tabs are mounted on, add 14".

Hope that helps.

One more thing, the one in the pic has guide bunks on it, I am pretty sure that wont work for the 268 due to the beam of the boat.

I wonder if this 278 trailer will work for my 268 ? I think it should, but not sure.
2005 278 Vista FW trailer. $2,950.

Alabama is a long haul for me, wonder if I can make it there and back in a weekend ?

EDIT: 2:59 P.M. Trailer is already sold. Resume search....................................

Thanks for the tip. Finding a used one will be a challenge, but we are in no hurry so that is good.

That one looks very close, but I think the bunks or slighlty different that that one. Ill see if I can get a pic of mine in the morning (with the boat on it) and see if we can see a difference. If not I would call FW on it. Alabama and back should be doable if you left on Friday night, wouldnt envy you though.

You might look into an aftermarket as well, my brother in law bought a new Venture aluminum trailer for just over 3k last year for his 240 DA.
