I have a brand new set of those that I will sell if anyone is interested. 60 bucks plus shipping and they are yours. Never installed.

I've seen the C-lift before, in picture anyway. I also recall a story that had some woman out in California lose an eye when she FELL ONTO something like it face-first (although I can't find the article online). It comes with pins to allow removal.

But when you tip the dinghy up you lose a fair bit of aft visibility. That and it blocks being able to cross the stern lines when you tie up for docking.

It seems there's always going to be compromises when trying to carry a dinghy on an express cruiser style boat.

Turns out we end up using ours a lot less than we'd imagined. For now we've gone with just keeping it deflated and stowed until we need it.
