I am looking at a brand new never owned 2007 H190 with a 4.3 190 Volvo. They are asking
$16,200 for the boat. Is this a good deal? I looked up on Nada and it listed for $14,445. Need some help and advice.. Thanks in advance.

What I would do is check with a few Four Winns dealers to see what you could buy either a 2008 or a 2009 for. There are some smoking factory incentives to the dealers that may allow you to get into a newer model. What you also have to remember is that banks will consider this a used boat simply because of the fact that its a couple years old now. So, with that, they will be willing to lend less money on it, and I doubt they will want to loan more than NADA value in these times.

Does that NADA price include a trailer?

dgs - where are you located? Sometimes, the region will have an effect on prices as well.

Are you willing to travel for your boat? if so - you have lots of other options.

That seems like a great price to me. If you are going to keep it for a few years then the fact that it is a 2007 shouldnt matter to you. I dont see how you could bargain a 2009 below even $20k. Good luck!

Just as an example...

Winnisquam has their 2008 rental boats that are like 9 out 10's. The lake is Tiny. They have 2 of them listed at 19k. Pick your color - yellow or blue.

Still with 'brand new' 2 year full warranties from FW.

I would check out something like that as well.

The price is fair, but that is all. You should make an offer in between the NADA and his price, and see what he says.

Or, like aguyindallas says, check with dealers on a 2008 or 2009. I have seen several 2008's at various dealers priced like this one. No hours, full warranty for just a few grand more than a 2007.

I actually am thinking about selling my 2007 H190. It has approx 120 hrs on it, but I have the extended factory warranty which is good for another 4-5 yrs, which is longer than the factory warranty. The boat is great and has a tower. I am looking at getting $13k. I'm in So Cal if you are interested. Reason for selling is upgrading.
