Looking for the best way to get my '04 sold. What are all your ideas and tips/tricks on getting it done. I think we've found the next boat...we just need to move ours first!

Congrats! How long ago did you sell it and how much? What year was it?

Trade-in is a great way to cut down on the taxes, if it's an option. Otherwise Craig's list treated me good. My old boat was only listed for about 48 hrs. 8)

I had an eighties vintage 17' Maxum bowrider sit at a Dealer's lot, on consignment for a season and a half - one test ride, otherwise nada. I listed it on Craig's List and sold it the next day.

Wow you guys are quick! Find a buyer for me lol!

Sounds like the way to do it. I put it up on here, BABC, and craigslist. eBay looks pretty good to, only costs $125 if it sells, and $7 for the reserve auction fee.

If it is priced right, it will sell. Asking top dollar, expect to keep it. Used boats took a 25% depreciation hit in December/January. You will be very lucky to sell it for what you paid for it.
