How did you go with your prop decision???

My experience with props "not massive reange of boats" but on my ski boats a 4 blade eats the 3 blade for quicker take offs, i cant say i notice any speed difference, if any it is minor, the fuel economy is far better with the 4 blade.

I believe this is where I bought mine. You can fine it other places but then you have to find the hub kit too, here it's included. Well for my volvo.

Hi, I have the 4.3MPI Merc in a '07 H190. It came ex factory with an ally 21 pitch prop. At ideal wakeboarding speed it was only pulling around 1800rpm and when the rider loaded up the rope carving out it would pull the hull speed down which required constant throttle control from the driver. I have just purchased a Vensura 4 blade SS prop. The pitch is 17 and it seems to produce a much improved platform for wakeboarding. Now at 18-20mph the boat is doing more like 2600rpm and can hold that speed regardless of what the rider is up to. Top speed has been greatly reduced, down from approx 50mph to about 38mph (speedo not GPS) however it's a good tradeoff if wakeboarding is the plan for the day. It's not hard to switch props so will keep the 21 pitch unit for cruising days only. When I'm next out will fire up the GPS on my mobile phone and will record "actual" speeds.

Hey Kiwichris
I think you have got it covered, using the lower pitch 4 blade stresses the engine less when under load ( tow sports)as the engine is revving higher and producing more torque .When cruising use the steeper pitch prop for greater speed, and lets be honest it's not that hard to change the prop
