As I promised I would report a Ski Pylon option for my new boat using for Tubing. This removable pylon which is about 1 and a half feet long and the brackets are heavily mounted to deck and transom wall. Typical Aftermarket Ski Pylon has warning sign says "Do not use with towables" (tubing) since shear stress of pulling tubing is much greater than pulling skier or wake boarder. However this Pylon has no such a warning label. I have asked my dealer and They told me that we should have no problem to use it for Tubing and matter of the fact they are developed for using for tubing for design criteria. So we gave a shot. We used a Period Ward bird 2 (2 people) tubing and pylon worked very well without the rope getting caught by wake at any speed. Pylon seems very rigid and no sign of flex. I would recommend for anyone.

As sucker as I am I had to get a FW`s new Inflatable Swim Platform Raft. This large raft comes with a 9V air pump and it will inflate very quickly. The raft has a section of mesh section to cool down as well as many cup holders. Everywhere I anchor and use this thing, it becomes instant popular spot to hangout…. We love this thing…

Love the raft and I want a ski pylon so bad!! I don't think it would be possible to install on our boat. :( Next boat will have one though. but that is a long ways away. :(
Nice pics!

The ski pylon looks great!

You're the first one I've seen with the FW raft. Is that a hole for a cooler on the other side of the mesh pool?

Yep!. You can put a cooler there.... Also there are 6 cup holders as well.... They are not only for kids.... Unfortunately kids has a tendency to take it over....... All we need is friends like Brent87LT1...... but those days are over for us

I wanted the Ski Pylon when I ordered my 220SS but the factory said that they havn't developed one for any other boats other than the 240 and 260. I guess I'll have to break out the tape measure, drill, hack saw, and rattle can agin.

Hey Sushi! That swim raft is awesome. My wife hasn't stopped talking about it since we met up with you! She thinks it will be great when the water is too cold to swim ..... Too much of a chance of getting wet for me though! I wait until the water wams up to atleast 70 F. i imagine I won't win that argument and we will probably have one of those or something similar by the time we meet up again next year!

I believe it is around $270 to $300 for retail. It comes with 9V Inflator/Deflator (pump)
