Anyone ever use or see one of these?

I'm thinking about adding this to the tube arsenal, but since they're relatively new there are not too many reviews on it.

If your tow rope doesn't drag in the water why bother, if it does well it might be worth looking into

I agree with Ardy. May just end up being more crap on the boat.

Just used my Booster Ball for the first time this week. It does work as advertised. My 4 year old was on the tube and he tends to sit forward because his arms are short. No submarining this time.

I do have one gripe however. After a short run with my older son the lines twisted on them selves. The ball spins as you turn and the lines twist and no way to get them untwisted but to unhook from the boat. Has any body else experienced this problem? Has any body used or seen a swivel attachment? I could certainly buy swivels to put on the ball but I am concerned about the safety and durability of this as the swivels would be under a lot of stress. Any other ideas?

We use ours often, mostly with the Super Mable. I've seen the ball rotate as it goes across the water, but it never seems to be twisted up when we bring it in.

We use ours everytime we tube... keeps the line out of the wake which can cause the tube to be jerked around....and it prevents spray in the rider's face.

We have had one and it's our second year with it. I had forgot to inflate it last Saturday so we used the "regular" tow rope. ALL the kids complained about the water spray and wanted the booster ball blown up and attached. So on Sunday we inflated it and the kids were once again happy :).

As for the twisting, once you're stopped (to pick up the riders that you threw off the tube) IF the wind catches the ball and it blows over the line, it can end up twisted. The kids have all learned how to pull the ball up to the tube and untwist it (by throwing the line over top of the ball).

I now have a portable air pump that's rechargeable and use that just for the booster ball - so at the end, when we're done, we do deflate it to stow it. Next time we go out, I just use the rechargeable air pump and blow it back up.

We don't do a whole lot of tubing, but when I had one (sold mine to tennja) it worked as advertised. It did take up a lot of room in the boat though. Tennja I never had a problem woth it twisting so not sure why its doing that.
