I recently bought a new set of wakeboard bindings and when I tried them on, my toe hung over the front edge (see picture below). My shoe size falls right at the max size range for the boot, so I am wondering whether this is okay or if I should step up to the next range. The boot feels fine on my foot, but I find it weird that my toe hangs over this far. As I have read on a number of sites, it is not good for your foot to come out of the boot, so should I go bigger or just ride like this?

I apologize for the giant picture of my toe. I have since cut that nail :D

I would go up in size. But I am very new to wakeboarding. I wouldn't want my toes hanging over the edge.

mrkaly88,
That binding is too small for you. You should get the next size up. You definitely don't want your toe to hangover like that.
You open yourself up for injuries being exposed, sprained or broken toes. Plus when your carving your toe side edge I would assume you would loose a lot of support when you are trying to hold that edge. You want a binding that fits so it's easy to transition your board from heelside to toeside.
Think of it this way, have you ever tried to walk in a flip flop that is to small and your toes hangover, it is no fun!!! that is how that binding will feel when you start carving turns.
