Just thought I would post this pic of myself taken last Easter. I realise that for you Northern Hemisphere folk your summer is winding down, but for us who live on the other side of the planet it is just getting started. A fortnight ago I had my first ski for the season, no pics were taken and I need to work on my form. Anyway here is the pic

A fortnight is 2 weeks, and it was more fun skiing than taking the photo

Hey Ardy, like you I'm starting to get pretty excited about the weather warming up along with the water temps.

Just got the annual service done yesterday by a local Mercury dealer so all primed, lubed and ready to go.

Not sure what the charges are like in AU or USA but here the labour charges are approx USD375 for 6cyl and USD500 for 8cyl inboards. Including parts the total charge was (gaskets/oil/filters/impeller etc) USD575.

It would be interesting to benchmark the costs in different countries....

Its school holidays here presently so might take a few days off work next week to head to the local lake for the first outing since Easter!

Hey Kiwi Chris, good to hear your ready to go not sure how much the 100 hour service is going to cost but I will keep you posted. I most likely will get them to do some other stuff as well just because I am fussy
fun and safe boating everyone
