Thinking about adding one of these... anyone add one to their runabout? As good as advertised... pros/cons? Thanks! |

I have PP on mine and would never do without it. There is now a Stargazer model which uses GPS for speed control instead of a paddlewheel, so no more drilling a 3 inch hole in your hull. I love it and it makes it so that nearly anyone can do a good job pulling me on a wakeboard. My installation thread: http://www.smwebhead.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1066&hilit=+perfect+pass |

Did you look at the Zero Off models at all? |

I have PP Stargazer, and use it for just cruising as well. After reading about it on here, I never considered anything else. See "Walt's Mod's" for the install pics, etc. Hope it helps. |

Did you look at the Zero Off models at all? No, I didn't. I had a pretty good idea that it was either going to be PP or SmartTwo (the Merc version of PP). I decided the Zero Off just wasn't what I was looking for. |
