Last Thursday the admiral and I went for another early morning ski with 2 other friends. I have mentioned before that this involves getting up at 5am and leaving at around 5.40 am arriving at Murray Bridge (town on the Murray River) at around 7am.
Conditions were close to perfect with only a few ripples on the water and an air temp of around 20 degrees C ( 70 degrees F) We were the only boat on the water all morning and as the morning progressed, the water improved. The admiral and I both had 2 great skis, and the other 2 went wakeboarding. My friend Craig showed some big improvement (he is still at the learning stage) by using the edges more effectively. The other friend had never been wakeboarding before and got up 2nd go. By 10.00 am we were all done and hungry so we headed for the bakery for morning coffee and buns. This is a great way to finish the morning.
I often refer to myself as a ski snob, as if the water is a bit ordinary or there is other boats around I won't bother having a go. I am however quite willing to get up early beat the crouds for that perfect water
Just sharing to keep the dream alive
for all you folk in the middle of your
winter

Hum. I don't know... That looks like it could have been take last year. I think we should treat this like a hostage thing. Next time, try holding a news paper from the same day so we have the current date, and something to verify location. Otherwise, it just looks fishy to me

Lookin' Good Ardy. Keep it up!
