Great video. Looks like fun! We're you trimmed all the way down when you took off? Your wake looked a bit "turbulent" as you started to plane.

This is the one we got and the kids love it. But on our recent vacation they rode on the larger sit-up versions many of you have on here, and now want one of those too.

I officially hate the tube already! i keep telling myself to "forget" the tube at home so I won't have to deal with it, but those darn kids like them so much. problem is that it is now keeping the 11 year old from trying to Wake Board.

Ahhhhhhh.welcome to tubehaters club.....its a pita for sure and worse to tow. Skilless, mindless activity. Kids love it though.....I start with it and get it over with..then deflate and stow it. I learned years ago to pick the activity and take turns with it then move on.

We usually...tube...swim...kneeboard...swim...wakeboard....swim...the poor skis never see action anymore.

Good question. I am also curious.
I use "that" for 2 tubes at once. I also use my wake tower for 2 tubes at once (less rope drag), or more frequently two wakeboards at once.

Anyone else have input on using the stern vice tower?


Hmmm... if you used it for 2 tubes at once, that is all I am looking to do so hopefully you addressed my concerns. :)


I realize I am a little late to the thread, but IMHO you should never use that ski rope tow point for towing a tube. Use a bridle attached to the transom hooks. Then you're sharing the load with two attachments that are much stronger along with stronger backing plates.

You can make your own, or buy anywhere, fairly cheap. Much cheaper than fiberglass repair from ski hook that was pulled out, LOL.

The last bridle I bought off amazon.com was under $15

I hear this! We usally Ski for Mom first since she needs the best water, Wakeboard, tube, swim, tube,wakeboard, then ski. This way, they get to tube twice, and use the tube to float and play on while we swim. I despise the whole anchor process, so when we go swim, I am only doing it once! I am still mastering the timing of when to drop the anchor, so that by the time it hooks up, I have the boat where I ultimately want it!

I normally drop the anchor and the back the boat off so that it hooks and I know where the boat will end up. Then I drop the stern anchor, jump in and set it.

It would be hard for the SL guys to use the tiedowns on the transom, because the swim platform covers it up

I only have one anchor and we drop it off the front end so the rope is not in the way for swiming and diving. I just need to drop it in sooner, so it hooks before I get too close to shore. Where we anchor, it is always in canyons, so there is no beach to go to, just big sharp fiberglass eating rocks. I then need to remember, like I did last time out, that once it sets, to pull myself closer to the set point, and re-tie the anchor so I re-establish some distance between myself and those hungry rocks.

Learn a new trick each time out. First 40 days we have had the boat, we have put 31.8 hours on it already.

Wow, I only have 30 hours, and I thought we boated a lot. Almost every weekend since I got the boat last season. I guess we launch close to where we anchor :lol:
