Good day fellow Fourwinnians,

New to the forum; just decided to refinish my 1992 251 Four Winns Liberator - twin OMC 351's with King Cobra OMC drives.

Wondering where the best place is to source drive and engine parts. Need to replace some parts for preventative maintenance.

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it as it seems to be harder and harder to get parts for these beasts!

Welcome! Where ya located? OMC parts are indeed getting scarce. Usually only available from a local shop that has a significant parts department. I know LouC (he will be along shortly) has a secret place he gets his OMC parts. Also E-Bay/Craiglist is a good option....

Oh, and there are some rules here. Rule #1, post pics of yer boat. The other rules don't really matter....

Here they have anything you need and the prices are good. You can still get parts no problem, you just have to know where to get them. I have about 30 or so links saved over the years for this.

http://www.sterndrive.info/index.html

This site also has great how too pages as well. http://www.sterndrives.com/engine_alignment.html
http://www.marinepartshouse.com/ This used to be called Mason Marine, great for everything. I even got all my OMC 800 parts from them.

That should get you started.

I have gotten stuff from sea-way marine and they are very good for parts you can't get from regular OMC dealers.

Another place that I have gotten parts from is:

www.crowleymarine.com

I used to get stuff from
www.dougrussell.com
but they messed up their formerly nice on line catalog so I use Crowley Marine now....

I also buy easy to get stuff from my local ex-OMC shop...
