Hi, I have a 1996 Horizon 170 Fish & Ski with a Johnson 130Hp O/B.
I just destroyed my prop on some nasty rocks. The OEM prop, was 4-blade 13.5"x 22 15 spline. I would like to replace with an aluminum prop. I have not had any luck finding this exact size. There seems to be many more options in the 14" range.

Is there any reason that an composite prop was originally installed? I am sure with the composite there would be more flex than aluminum?

I am able to find aluminum 4-blade 14"x21 or 23 pitch.

With the oem prop the boat ran very well, with top speed in the mid to upper 40's. It has a really good holeshot as well.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
