The last 2 times i launched my 268 with a volvo 5.7 the boat started to over heat while ideling at the dock. I had to remove the outlet hose from the impeller housing, start the boat and see good water start pumping then re attach the hose then it works perfect. My boat has a new impeller and a new t-stat this year.when i leave the boat in the water it works perfect no matter what it runs right at 160 any one else ever had this problem?
