For aesthetic reasons, I'm wanting to remove the flame arrestor mounted breathers and use push-in filters on the rocker covers.
Other than odour, are there any marine specific risks I should know about?

That engine looks like you can eat off of it! :D I went to that website and they have many nice parts to upgrade my volvo 5.7 thanks for the post
