Does yours look like this?

I checked here and it seems that the trim switch itself is NLA, but if you call around sometimes you can find them. More often than the switch breaking, is that the wires break inside the control and then the trim doesn't work either up or down. Do you have voltage at the trim relays?
I still have the old OMC control on mine, and when anything breaks on it I am not going to bother fixing it, I will just replace it with a new one.....costs a bit but better in the long run....
If you want to try to get the part, Sea Way Marine in Washington State is a dealer that has stockpiled many obsolete OMC parts....

Where are the trim relays located?

On mine there is a trim piece that pops off and there is a bolt in the center of the handle that allows you to remove it. The switch may have a phillips head screw holding it to the handle. First find the relays (ask deafwish since he has a similar boat) and check for power there. Right now all you know is that the trim doesn't work, but you don't know why. I'd look for broken wires where the trim wiring goes into the control box, but first find the relays.

looks like you have the same system deafwish has. I'm glad I have the old fashioned one with separate relays....

There's an allen head grub screw at the bottom of the handle.
Put the lever to full reverse to access & remove the grub screw.
The handle should then simply slide off.

Our relays are sealed inside the control box, that mounts to the pump & are unserviceable.
Can you make up a switch to test it at the pump?

Check for broken wires where the handle rotates under the OMC cap. I had one snap in there and if you're gentle you can work some slack into the wire and solder it back together. That's what worked for me.

I've been trying to get out to the boat. It has been raining every time I've tried. Three days now.

Thanks. I fixed the problem. Plug came undone on engine mounting.
