took the boat out today, after about 15 min started to lose rpms took it to swimmers cove to let it cool down, pulled the filter and nothing out of the ordinary no water or debris . took it back out ran fine for a while then started to surge . could the fuel pump be starting to go out ? going to pick up the boat and bring it home next week to check fuel pressure . would the pressure be the same as a car around 5-7 lbs or do boat pumps use a higher pressure range.(it has a carb )

Last season I had the same problem on my Seaswirl. It too has a carb went ahead and had the carb gone through and it ended up being my stone filter in the carb itself.

I bet it's an issue with the anti-siphon valve. They're good for getting crud lodged in them and causing this sort of mayhem.
