Hi everyone
Guess im going to put mufflers on the liberator, the Grand Haven Sherrif issued me a fix and repair ticket for 94.4 decibels and the law is no more than 90 decibels. What I have is twin 340 hp 460 ford engines with 4" OMC thru hull exhaust, there may be enough room for mufflers that are no longer than 12" also it may be possible to put silencers in the exhaust tips wich are 4" any idea on a manufacture i have looked on ebay and a couple other sites but I cant seem to get an answer on how much of a decibel reduction I can expect with thier product and I dont want to spend good money after bad fixing it. Has enyone had to install mufflers or exhaust tip silencers any suggestions on a manufacture ? How much noise reduction did you have.

Have you looked at the Corsa Silencer tips? Just attach them to the through-hull tips.
