Possible but usually at that age....carbs need to be cleaned and rebuilt...actually the whole fuel system should be gone thru...starting with the tank, tank vent, antisiphon valve, etc to make sure that it's all OK. If the region where the boat is recently changed to E-10 fuel this is a common headache...it cleans out the junk in the tank which clogs filters if you're lucky...clogs carbs if you're not..

Hi Guy's thank you very much for all your replies and advise. posting.php?mode=reply&f=11&t=3167#

I think the boat was suffering from old fuel as it now behaves a lot better, I am concerned re its top speed though as it seems a little slow at 33-34 mile per hour as measured with a gps unit. I take the point about looking up in the old information however company claim's are just company claims, does any members have this boat or know what speed it should do?

Thanks in advance
