Looking for everyones opinion and/or experience on the VP OSXi drives, good & bad, pros & cons.

I am boating 100% of the time in the salt and these drives make good sense to me, but I have heard a few that seem to be opposed to them. I want to upgrade to a Vista, and this is an important consideration. I installed after market FWC on my current boat and would do the same on a future boat if OSXi was not an option.

Are they worth the money?
Ease/cost of maintaining?
Reliable?
And anything else.

Thanks in advance.

Be careful, I hear they go through bellows like no other. Thats the only main negative I found on them when I was digging up info. VP has discountinued that designed and came out with OceanX. The XDP drives didn't last long...
