Hello,

Hoping someone can help. I need to find a bolt to replace the one that grew legs and walked off. The bolt is from the top bracket of the alternator, not the long bolt/nut that is the pivot point but the one on top. In the picture linked below it's part number 19.

I've taken the alternator to Lowes / Home Depot / Mom and Pop hardware store / Four Winns dealer / Autozone trying to find a bolt that would work. I can order it through volvopentastore.com but it's a $0.40 part with $10 shipping.

Anyone know the exact details of the bolt? Size? Thread pattern?

I would simply measure the hole in the alternator case, and buy the appropriate length washer head bolt, a flat washer, and nylock nut. I'd use stainless, but you don't need to. Any hardware store should have those things.
