Hi,

My engine sync is properly calibrate on idle, but when I run around 4000rpm sharp on both engine the engine sync is a little bit not in the middle. If I put it in the middle one engine is at 3850 and the other at 4000rpm. My question; Do I have to run with the engine sync perfectly in the middle or both RPMs must be at 4000RPM, because if it the case my engine sync will not be in the middle.

Is it the engine sync or the RPM the right infos ? Vista 298 2003 with 4.3 Volvo injection.

Thanks thanks

I have had the same issue from when I purchased the boat new. I keep them in sync with the exception of running full throttle. I didn't know they put 4.3's in the 298. What is the horsepower on those?

I "think" the 4.3 is 180hp.

Its good enough, I cruise 30mph at 3900rpm.

As per your reply the good way is always sync the engine and never check the difference between the rpms.

thanks
