So we were out today doing some tubing, kneeboarding and just kicking around and when I ran across the lake back to the ramp, I went wide open and then the boat began overheating. After backing down and putting it in nuetral and then revving the engine up to about 2000 RPM's it came right back down, and then ran fine back to the ramp at about 3000 RPMs.

When I got home tonight I removed the impeller and it looked fine, but I was unable to locate any kind of gasket or O-ring in there. Can someone guide me as to what I should have found when I pulled the housing, please and thank you!

Also on the agenda for tomorrow is fixing the stuck Captains Call exhaust on the starboard side.
