Idle on boat, 351 fuel injected, seems to be a little rough. Not fast or slow, but in now wake zones engine almost seams like it is missing every now and then. Out on lake one day, ran like a horse, next day all of a sudden stalled at low speed, and then at WOT, never could get more than 3500 rpm. Guess what, day after seemed fine again. Rough Idle is fairly consistant.

What should I be looking for to fix ??

Start with the basics. Hows your secondary ignition system? Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, ect. Pull your distributor cap off and check for moisture and carbon tracking. Let it run and mist your plug wires with a spray bottle...any cross arching?

Based on how erratic the problem is, I am wondering if there is some crud blocking/partially obstructing the fuel pick up line in the tank?

Four Winns dealer replaced plugs and wires, so while I did not check, they only have 22 hours on since I tossed the boat in. Will pull the plugs to see if one is fouling, also I'll check the cap and rotor, I can't find the service bill, so not sure if they worked on those parts. Temp outside did change quite a bit, hit 95 Sunday.

Dealer also put in a new fuel filter, but with the banter on the ethanol fuel on this site, I know the guy I bought the boat from filled up at gas stations and not marinas, so I do wonder what's in my tank. Did toss in a bottle of Seafoam engine treatment and that's the day it ran crappy did run it for about 4 hours. Next day, ran much better and did not put any more gas or engine treatment in so and ran fine for 3 hours, so go figure.

Thanks for the suggestions, any others ??
