Shifter went all wonky tonight

Launched my boat in the lake tonight after aciding the hull... It was cold and we gotta kinda shove it off the trailer. I would have to quickly go from reverse to N and press the button in to give it gas to keep from stalling.. well I guess I did that one times too many.. the whole shifter thing is loose and out of whack.

Gets stuck forward and the button won't release, I can slide the arm in and out a good 1/4in and then it will click in (still stuck in foward). The release button won't move and the whole thing is loose and wiggles and feeling my fingers behind the arm it feels like something is not in a groove that you can wiggle around.

What went wrong? It's dark I can't see anything tonight.

Right? The whole thing has always been wiggly but I guess it wants to take things to the next level.

I made some comments earlier about selling my car, then took it for a drive tonight and noticed the displays on the radio and in the dash won't work when the engine is started. WTF?

I think the machines sense what is about to happen and show their disapproval.

Sounds like a bad trip on acid When things that control your life on board get wobbly time to change it up before someone has a bank shot into the big and ugly.Maybe go wireless it keeps the monk vessels out of harms reach

pin fell out of shifter mechanism under the drive cover out back. 5 minute fix.
