Does anyone out there have this "new" design bellows on their boat? The one with the slotted holes. If this is for the purpose for draining when the engine is tilted up why even have a bellow. It seems to me that when in the water it would allow water to enter into the exhaust system. Granted only from waterline and below but still allow it. Waterline is still pretty high up in the exhaust.

Even without the holes there is water in the exhaust all the time. It will be fine the way it is. The exhaust is not closed off when you turn the engine off.
