ive got a 2013 h210 SS 350/300 mag with a b3 drive 2.20 drive ratio, its got 24P props on it (inner 4 blade, outer 3 blade) for some reason i thought the outer prop should to be a smaller diameter then the inner prop? or was that only on the last gen bravos?

with a 3/4 tank of fuel and just me on the boat(170lbs or so) and just over 1/4 trim on the gauge it will max about 50mph on the speedo at 4800rpms - wont hit 5k - does this seem right? if i run it around 4k for a short time, i will get the alarm to beep once, i've checked all the fluid levels and they are good, oil pressure is good and eng temp is not getting high at all, sticking at the 17X* on the gauge. does it have a gear oil temp warning?

I hope you get to the bottom of it, I honestly don't know but your boat runs at 175 I thought that seemed a little high my boat runs at 145 if I am not mistaken. Right in the middle is where the needle sits at.

It's a 2013? I wouldn't bother asking us, talk with the dealer it's under warranty.

+1 on that the dealer would be getting a call from me also!

I would not even mess with the dealer. E-mail Mercruiser with your drive and engine serial #, they will have the answers for you. I think you can't expect much more than 50-52mph out of that boat, even at 5,000 RPM. You probably have no issues at all, except that you WISH you had a faster boat.

17x on the temp gauge is perfect and 47-50mph per spec on the top speed. I'd bring it to the dealer to read the ECU to see what the beep is.

4800rpm redline is per spec of Mercruiser. Mercruiser lets the OEM's pick anywhere from 4800 to 5200. Four Winns always plays it safe as they're a cruising boat not a sport boat. If you get something like a Stingray that's just built for speed (not comfort), they'll bring it up to 5200 or even higher in the programming just to get another mph or 2 for sales.

Sounds like you want a faster boat.. Probably should have done some research before buying. The top speed is listed right on the spec sheet.

i knew 50-55 was the top end when i got it, if i wanted faster i would have gone with something like a lavey craft or nordic , it feels much faster then 50mph and being able to rock into a tight turn at high speeds is the reason i went fourwinns, it handles like its on rails! im more worried about the alarm beep then anything. the local four winns dealer has caused my damage to the boat/trailer in the last 3 days then i have in the month i have owned it so i wont be going back to them.
** any merc dealer should be able to check the ecm out or are they locked to the dealers?
