I will call BS on this one. Shift cable bad in the drive maybe. I have two Bravo's on right now and can put them in and out of gear with just bumping the props.

Yesterday I shut off engine while in gear with cutting battery off.... I had no problem with putting Neutral and get engine started.... If older BIII had such a issue I think they corrected..... by the way DTS is Digital Throttle & Shift..
