I had this same problem. Take your thermostat housing off and check the small bypass opening. You may have a chunk of old impeller in there. It is a curved passage through the housing that bypasses the thermostat. Take a small screwdriver and twist it around that passage from both directions. Took me an hour or so to fish it out of mine, but it worked great and now runs at 170* all day. |
