Some prefer the additional safety of a marinized starter, especially since gas fumes settle.

Napa carries the marine version in addition to a slew of other Volvo Penta parts. $256 for the starter.

Problem is, I cannot get the old one out. I can get a ratchet on the bolts, but not much room and with my arms so far up in there, I just cannot break them free.
