Anyone have a suggested place to have an aluminum prop rehabilitated? Lots come up on internet searches, few shops around me send them out anyway otherwise I would support a local shop. |

When you can get a new one for $110 off iboats it's not really popular to fix aluminum ones. |

Just for reference a local shop, Wolverine Propeller, fixed my AL. prop for $60. Probably not worth having it shipped and fixed but wanted to give you an idea of the cost if you could find a local shop. $60 is better than $110 for a new one and they are just a mile of so from work for me so no shipping hastle. |

http://www.hhprop.com/ Hi Jon; You can drop the prop off at just about any service center or marina because everyone sends to these guys up in Essex, CT. They did my 2 stainless DP's a couple years ago.......Your in Newtown (I'm in Fairfield) so you can go to Hitchcock Marine on Ferry Blvd in Stratford (I use this place, they're very good) or Capt'ns Cove in Bpt....or those places up on Candlewood Lake probably all send to H & H Prop in Essex......about a few day turn-around...don't know the cost for ALum.......won't be as much as a stainless prop, though--dang, those are expen$ive to repair!!
