Would like info on finding spark plugs for my 2005 evinrude 150 direct injection. Went on Brp website and they want 13$ for one.. Yikes... Can't cross reference the plugs that were in there. Champion xc12REPB. Also the 2 top cylinders were not completely lined up to the index. Previous owner had them really tight, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It is not recommended to use anything other than the champion. I have seen people use other plugs but they do not work as well.
Also, sounds like you know what you are talking about but the index mark has to be within 90 degrees of the injector tip in either direction.

I owned a two stroke motorcycle.. 90's 250 GP roadrace bike. Plugs were almost $20 each. $13 is cheap! Usually they're specifically designed for that engine.

I would trust NGK and they do list 150hp evinrude's up to 2012 in platinum plugs but I'd need your exact engine model # as they're different part numbers per engine.

Example: E150DCXSCF

Still having a hard time trying to find the rite plugs, on bombardier website looked up E150FPXSOC and don't see anything under direct injection for a 2005 150hp. Don't want to chance another make as this engine is very fussy concerning spark plugs. It's not your traditional carbureted smoke billowing 2stroke engine.
Thanks for the index tip thought they had to be rite on the mark.
I was told that if I did anything at all to this engine change the plugs every 100 hrs or the beginning of each boating season.
Any input welcome... Thanks
