From what I've read an researched the people's biggest complaint is there surface of the pieces ar not flat. I'm considering ordering them and have the engine mil them down for me. Would this be the only issue I would have.

I have had them for about two years in salt water now -- no issues.

I was aware of flange smoothness issues, and ground them flat with a power sander before I installed the gaskets.

Yes -- China --- it is a country on the other side of the world, in case you have not heard of it ---
However -- like anything that is the "least expensive" of its type -- it is worth checking and discussing and getting opinions before you buy ---whether it is a cheap car -- cheap tires-- or cheap manifolds.
In most things you do get what you pay for.
I doubt there will be a difference in the manifolds, so I bought the "least expensive".
Time will tell.

HOWEVER ---that's why I drive a BMW for occasional use at the house and not a ___ or ____ or ____.

just my .02

thx
Dale

I am also looking into exhaust manifolds, and have found OSCO for 159.95 per side and Barr for 178.99 per side. I know both are made in USA, has anyone used these? I assume better than GLM. Both companies have been around since 1932 according to their websites.
