Hey guys I am looking to replace my props as my current props are getting worn.
Boat is a 2003 214 Funship 350 MAG Bravo III
The boat is new to me and I have only run it once so not sure what I should expect for performance.
Current prop is 22 pitch Mercruiser and at 3900 feet altitude with 2 adults 2kids, minimal equipment and 40 gallons fuel it ran 46 MPH at 5000 RPM.
Should I stick to the 22 pitch or try something different?

When you say worn, how so? Actually loosing metal (prop getting smaller)? :P Not to get in your wheaties, but a Funship isn't a speed boat, and 46mph sounds like a good WOT speed for what your boat is. I guess the bigger question is, what do you want and/or expect from a different prop?

The previous owner didn't exactly take care of the prop it has some good dings in it but most of all I want a little better hole shot for wakeboarding. It does ok just curious if I might be better off with a different pitch.

Ah, I see...well def a different pitch would improve holeshot, but normally at the cost of lower WOT mph. By no means am I a prop/pitch expert, so I will leave that to those who will be along shortly to advise on the proper pitch for holeshot. In the meantime, you could do a search here on the forums for prop/wakeboard/holeshot. I know there are dozens of threads dealing with that question.

46mph @ 5000rpm is almost precisely what that boat is spec'd for. I'd get your prop repaired (or replaced with the same) and have fun.

Side note, you don't want too much of a hole shot for wakeboarding. A steady strong pull will do the trick. Slalom skiing, that's a different story.
