Post subject:  engine manual ?

HELLO TO ALL !
We took ownership of a 1990 Sundowner 255 last week. We've been away from boating for quite some time and are happy to be back.
I downloaded the owner's manual and found there is also an engine manual. Can anyone tell me how I can get a copy of the engine manual ?
Also, the prop has been replaced with a stainless version (15x16), the engine is a Chevy 350, 240 HP, is this the right prop ? Was the original a 3 or 4 blade ?
Thanks for any help.

Never heard of any Four Winns boats coming stock with four blade props.

On the engine manual, Volvo lets folks download them - you can search by your engine s/n; but as you mention a Chevy, I think you'll need to deal with Merc. Last time I cheked Merc makes folks buy hard copies.

+1 on the 4 blade prop.

I would think it would be a better investment to purchase a Clymer's or SELOC manual for that Merc rather than an owner's manual.
