Looking to buy a second prop and use the one I have as a spare. I have time so I wanted to do some research first. I still have I believe the stock prop which is a 14-1/2" x 19" . I'm seeing WOT RPMs of 4900 @ 43Mph so I may be just a bit over propped (or need a tune up) The 2002 Johnson 150 has a WOT RPM range of 4500-5500 I am not to concerned with top end speed but want good fuel efficiency and good cruising. What props are you using (if you have a similar model)? What has worked for you. I have been thinking of using a Hustler (I need aluminum around here) |
