this boat is new to me & trim tabs are non-funtional. i can hear the pump run but no movement on the tabs & of course the pump is on the front on the transsum that a monkey would have diffculty getting to. any guesses on the solution. when i purchased the boat it had been negected in the slip w/ very heavy growth on the gearcase & tab cylinders. the algae caused corrotion & a leak at the fill/drain plug on the gearcase. i wonder if corrotion is causing this malfuntion?

thanks,

If you hear the pump running and nothing is happening, I'm going to guess you don't have hydraulic fluid.
Assuming that is the case you probably have a leak somewhere and need to fix it.
