My ford 302 (502ACPMDA) has a deceleration valve that I broke while trying to diagnose my running issues. I broke the barb fitting off and I was unable to glue it back together successfully.

Can anyone help me find this online? PN is 3853743 and all I can find is a used one on ebay for +$125!!!!!!!

Crazy! There must be something more cost effective out there.

At least 1/2 dozen more sources that are easy to find.

I will check to see if I still have mine that I took off when I rebuilt my engine. I know for sure I have the carb and fairly certain I have the valve. Don't buy one until you hear back from me unless you want a new one. I will let it go cheap and post a pic so you can look at it.

Cap- You might not have noticed that 3853743 is showing "OBSOLETE" from all of those vendors. Everyone has it listed on their part break downs but all I have found online is the used one on ebay for $99+S/H

Fiznuka- That would be awesome if you still had it! Keep me posted.

Don't need it. Plug the holes. It has zero effect on performance, reliability, or economy. You won't even know it's gone. It literally does nothing.

One of the links does have them, the other two say "call us" Those distributors can find dealers that have them in stock. It's obsolete, but still available, but not as easy as just searching on the inter-web. You have to call them. Or you may get lucky and "Fiz" still has his old one for cheap.

For the sake of your engine just plug the vacuum line and cap off the hole on the carb flange. It's some bloatware 80's car failed technology that would supposedly inject air into the engine when you let off the gas to make the exhaust quieter when you're slowing down. Seriously that was the "idea". In reality it literally does nothing except waste space and create a huge vacuum leak when it fails. Get rid of that junk.
