I give up, I've used a few of the online part number finders to find the right part number for the pivot drain plug for my 88 OMC 5.0L Cobra. I've ordered 2 now, one too big and one too small!!! How hard can this be?? Can anyone help? Thanks! OP |

I checked the Doug Russell site and the part # for the plug is 3852536 and the o-ring is 0911311, is that what you ordered? I've ordered parts before from them and usually the right stuff came in. |

Lou C- Thanks for responding to my many posts, I've even seen your name pop up on Iboats posts too. In any case, you can see I left this little problem for the next season. I did a search on Doug Russell today and wasn't able to find either numebr you listed below. i must be jinxed! ha, I called them and the guy's system froze! You just have to laugh. You could also try Crowley Marine, their website is easier to use, I usually call Russell and can order stuff without trouble. Failing that if you have a dealer that sells Evinrudes they can order OMC parts from BRP. |
