As of today I am not impressed with Volvo Penta.

I am trying to locate a parts breakdown for my DP-SM outdrive, but it seems like Volvo does not provide this service on their website. They suggest I purchase a paper copy for $32 USD plus shipping.... what is this 1985?

My dealer tells me that Volvo just changed their site, unannounced, and they can't even find the simple parts I am after.

Does anyone have a website or access to the parts breakdown?

Today I am missing my Bravo III!

Thanks for the help guys but still not getting volvo's part numbers.

The Volvo parts page says it currently only available in the USA.

The best I can dig up so far is a part number from marinepowerservice.com. I am worried that they are not volvo part numbers.

If someone from the U.S. could compare that would be greatly appreciated.

At the following link to marinepowerservice I am looking for items 7 and 8.

The serial number for the out drive is 4012080654.

I can check my books later, but those do appear to be valid Volvo part numbers to me.

I agree, Volvo does not make it easy to identify things.

Might be best you call them

I checked those numbers in my parts catalogs. Neither are listed, but that doesn't surprise me (those caps & clips are not shown on any of my diagrams at all). I'd be willing to bet they are the correct numbers; you'll find that most of your Volvo part numbers start with 383, 385, 386, or 387.

I agree those look like VP part numbers.

If you search those numbers with Volvo Penta in front of the number you get multiple sites including iBoats "Volvo Penta Official Online Store" showing those numbers. Except it shows the 3857522 as a cardboard tube which I would guess is an error.
