 Post subject: Outdrive oil refilling

I cannot locate the bottom drain plug/screw on my outdrive. I have a 1999 5.7 gsi volvo penta. Have I lost my mind? I know where it is supposed to be located but it isn't there!!

I found it in my manual. I have to take my props off,,jeez. Thanx Mike for responding. Nothing is ever easy is it? ;)

May as well buy the prop tool now, you will bend one sooner or later and have to swap it. :mrgreen:

Plus you should be doing that (removing props) once a season anyway, to re-grease the prop shaft so they don't get seized on. Which can happen.
