Hi,
I have a 2000 v298. I am the second owner. It does have the 5.7gsi's, two of my friends have 2001 v298's with 5.0's. They both have F5's and mine has F6's. Can anyone tell me if the 5.7's come stock with the F6's or were they replaced?

Thank you

According to the four winns website fast facts page, the F6 was the stock for the twin 5.7gsi option, and F5 were stock for the 5.0 engines.

My 2000 298 came with f5’s and I have 5.0 motors. I switched last season to f4’s and it made a huge difference out of the hole. And I lost about 5mph off the top end. To the original poster I have both sets of f5’s still that I’d let go of pretty cheap if interested
