Hello,
I just put my motor together and I have water in the oil. Plus, I feel compression coming from the holes where the oil drains into the block. The engine does not run rough. I did also notice that there is not a lot of oil pressure when I took the valve cover off and ran the motor.

I did connect my house water hose to a water line on the engine and not with the ears you put on the lower unit.

Is it possible that the house water line can put too much water pressure where I have it hooked up? Should I connect the water through the lower unit using the ears instead?

It has a new head gasket, new exhaust and intake gaskets and I did check the exhaust manifold for leaks with acetone(no leaks).
