Hello I need a new shift cable for my 1990 Four Winns 170 OMC 2.3L. I have read that they have changed part numbers several times. Does anyone know the correct part number? Humbly, ED |

Go over to: www.crowleymarine.com Look in the OMC parts section under OMC sterndrive then put in your year, engine and model # if you know it. Then you can look it up in the transom mount section. |

You're welcome! I have bought a fair amount of stuff from them and they are reliable. They also had the three OMC tools that make the shift cable adjustment easier/faster/fool proof. With them and some updated factory instructions I was able to set up the cable in a few hrs. For the transom shift cable, as for the driveshaft bellows, I think you're better off with OE parts.... |
