A SUCCESS!

So far I'm happy with the new F5s. Wife and I had a chance yesterday to put the boat in at Muskegon Lake and run to Grand Haven/Spring Lake for the afternoon. I picked up about 300 RPM so 50MPH was easy to hit once I was able to rev past 4400. The midrange acceleration with this boat has always been impressive, but it felt stronger with the F5s. I know it shouldn't, but my holeshot felt better too. I will have a better anaylsis this evening after I run the boat full of people. I'm curious about my holeshot with a load.

Glad to hear you had a good result from the prop change. I will be keeping my eye out for a set over the winter. Knock on wood.... I haven't needed a spare yet this year.

Watch your fuel guage go now! I had my Dad out a couple of weeks ago and we were scooting along at WOT and I used from 3/4 to 1/2 tank in 30 minutes! Fortunately, there are not too many times when I get the opportunity to drive her this hard though.

I had 6 adults in the boat today and still happy with the performance. Holeshot was a tad slower, but still had way than enough power to get up quickly. I pulled a BIG two person tube with some good side folks with no issues. I'm able to run a little slower MPH and stay on plane which is nice. I'm glad I made the change. I'm hoping to take a weekend and have my F5 and F6 props and do some side by side testing for more specific #s and results.
