| Post subject: | Prop splines and hub kit? |
Need to order a replacement prop today but can't find some info. 1990 4.3 cobra out drive running now 14.5 x19. I'm aware original was 21. Is that 19 spline RH? And any hub kit needed? Or better yet, part numbers? |

if its a 19 spline , then just order your prop a right rotation prop. I just picked up a 14.25 x 19 4 blade solas manta 4 prop. It added lots of take off. I will look and see what my part number was on mine. |

19 is the pitch, not the spline. The dog clutch Cobras (1986-1993) were a 15 tooth spline, the joint venture 94 and up models were 19 spline. Michigan wheel makes aluminum props for your drive in 14.5x19, 15x17 and 15.5x15. They make them in the exact right hub size for the Cobra fit perfect and no hub kit needed. |
