I live in the Middle East and cannot find the Specified Mercury or Quicksilver u-joint and gimbal grease. What can I use as a substitute?? Thanks in advance. (Alpha 1 gen 2 drive) ![]() |

Would it be an option to have a dealer ship you a few tubes of it so you have plenty on hand? |

It's a standard automotive U/J or wheel bearing grease, like Castoll LM etc. It doesn't need to be waterproof ( if water gets in to the bellows and into the U/J / gimball bearing then it wouldn't last long) Graham |

I've been using Pennzoil Marine trailer wheel bearing grease. |

I use waterproof wheel Bearing grease, you can get from any parts house, checker, Autozone, ect... I also agree that any bearing grease would work as it should never see water. |
